Our Review of the Eureka E10S Hybrid Vac + Mop with Bagless Self-Empty Station

April 28, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

All right, I am going to say that it is time to review another robo-vacuum. As I have said in the video, we have reviewed many of them in our time at TheGeekChurch, but I will say that the Eureka E10S is one of the coolest that we have done in the history of our ever.

The set-up for the Eureka E10S was very simple. All that is required is to set up the control tower (for lack of a better word) near an outlet so you can plug it in. The tower charges the circular vac, and I’m told it takes about six hours before the first use. I don’t think it takes near that long, but as I mentioned in the video, I kind of screwed up when I did this control tower the first time. You see, there was a toggle switch on the back that I forgot to turn on, so…whoops.

Once I did get it working, all that was required was downloading the app, which is the best way to set the E10S up with your Wi-Fi network. In fact, it’s probably the only way, but the app is very handy as a command station, giving you warnings in case the E10S vacuum is not charged. Also, this app will map your house with LiDAR Navigation, which is something that I really like.

You can see in the video how it zips on the floor, and you might notice the side brushes that spin 360 and look really cool. You might also notice how it is able to bump over the dividers between rooms with ease, and the Eureka E10S maneuvers very, very well.

What really makes this work is once you are through cleaning, the E10S vacuum goes back to its control tower, and then the container sucks it up. I have to admit, I really loved that, as most robo-vacuums just have that unit for charging only, like the Neato Robotics one I reviewed a while ago. I am told that this container, which reminds me of a blender in looks and action, can hold the dust of 45 days. That, or the dog shedding of at least a week. I was kidding about that last part, but I was pretty amazed at how much dog hair the E10S can pick up.

I forgot to mention that this is a 2-in-1 Vacuum and Mop System, and it can run for about 180 minutes. Man, it really is quite a sweet robo-vacuum, and perhaps we might review more Eureka products in the future.

Facts About The Company

I’m guessing that Eureka is best known for its vacuums, and by guessing, I am saying that reading the company’s history reveals that the company has been in business for about 100 years, and they seem to think that I have already heard of them and their vacuum products.

What Does This Company Make?

Eureka has been in the business for a long time making things that suck. By that, I mean vacuum cleaners. They have the Upright, Stick, Canister, Wet/Dry, Robot, and the Carpet Cleaner and much, much more.

What Do the Reviews Say?

On Amazon, I see that it has about 341 ratings that average out to about 4 stars. Personally, I think this is pretty low, and it should be higher.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I believe that I misquoted the price on the video, as I found it to be a few hundred dollars cheaper on Amazon. I thought that price seemed very high to me, but this was the price that I was quoting from the Eureka website. These are the robot vacuums that I have reviewed in the past, and I believe that they are all cheaper, assuming they are available at this time.
