Vankyo Leisure 3 Mini Projector 3600L Portable Movie Projector

July 3, 2020 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

We have recently reviewed projectors in the past, such as the Viewsonic M1 Mini Projector. Today, I am reviewing one from a company that I have not heard of known as Vankyo, and I am told that the Vankyo Leisure 3 Mini Projector 3600L Portable Movie Projector is one of Amazon’s best sellers in video projectors.

I will have to say that the Vankyo Leisure 3 Mini Projector 3600L Portable Movie Projector is one of the cheapest, but I want to talk about all of the features before I get to the price. Out of the box, I found that the Vankyo Leisure 3 Mini Projector 3600L Portable Movie Projector comes with a great carrying case as well as the cables you can use, not to mention a remote control.

Once it is out of the box, it was a very simple matter of plug and play. I turned the Vankyo Leisure 3 on and used the included HDMI cable to plug into my laptop, and I immediately had a mirror image of what is on my screen. Of course, I could have also used the VGA port, USB port, as well as other inputs.

Of course, it was out of focus, but it was pretty easy to spin the lens and get it right. What was interesting is that this had a keystone correction knob, so you could put the Vankyo Leisure 3 at an angle of 15 degrees, and the image would be okay.

Speaking of image, I should probably get to that. It has a measurement of 32 or 175 inches, and can function within 4.9 or 16 feet away from the wall or whatever you are using as a screen. It can also do 1920 x 1080 resolution, and support a contrast ration of 2,000:1. As far as the sound is concerned, you will be pleased to know that it has a noise-suppressing fan so you can hear the movie, gameplay, or whatever you have hooked up to the Leisure 3, be it a gaming console, computer, or smartphone.

Okay, let’s get to the price. It is only $109.99. Seriously. I have seen projectors that cost three times that amount, and if you are interested in saving a little money, head on down to the Vankyo site and lay down a relatively low amount.
