Like I mentioned before, CES always has a lot of after-parties. I suppose that CES Unveiled is probably more of a before-party, but I do appreciate events such as Pepcom and Showstoppers. I was invited to come to one event called Made in Korea, and I enjoyed it as much as China Tech First Look.

Okay, so now that I got all those links out of the way, lets talk about what was seen at another after-party known as MIK or Made in Korea. The event started out kind of blah, as there were tables for exhibitors, but there were no exhibits on them. I will be completely honest and say that the only thing that kept me there was the food. However, it really got good later on, and I had a chance to meet with a lot of companies that I never would have heard of otherwise.

This is some company that wants to put a display on transparent screens as well as mirrors. It’s pretty clear that this is where we are headed, so this company seems ahead of the curve.

Well, here’s a product known as LilyCover that is made for examining your skin. It looks quite interesting, honestly.

At Showstoppers, I talked about this Zumi, a self-driving car that travels with your smile. The guys from Robolink really were the life of the party as one put on a magic show, complete with linking rings, rope tricks, and some drone dancing.

I really enjoyed these boys from TAG Inc. They created this app that allows you to measure a fish, and then share your conquest online. It’s pretty clever, really.

I am not certain what this company can actually do, but I know it has something to do with monitoring batteries.

These guys make some air hockey table with a screen as well as controls with a tablet. It’s like they went out of their way to technology overload this, and I love it.

This company has figured out a way of emitting plasma in such a way that it can really do some good.

It took me a while to figure out what this company does, but they want to make these stamps for your hand that can be used as sanitizer. Think of it as Prell in a stamp form.
