Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
So I have to admit that I never really heard of Mountain, but they certainly have created their pinnacle with the Everest Max. You can see my video and just the image here how it isn’t just a keyboard, but it has a number pad, a media dock with display dial, and much more.
You can see me plug in the keyboard to my laptop, and then it has the cool rainbow effect that you see on a whole lot of gaming keyboards. You will note that it took me a while to figure out how to plug it in to my laptop. This is because this thing has four USB-C ports, but they are for something else.
But we’ll get to that. The keyboard has BaseCamp Software, which is definitely made for those who want some flexibility in gaming. It has a Macro Wizard and editor and many RGB features (more than I found in the video, sorry).
While we are on the subject of customization, I didn’t talk about one of the boxes that Everest Max came with was just labeled “Customization”, and it had one of those tongs used to remove the switches. I forgot to talk about the wrist-rest, and it does magnetically link, but that link isn’t strong enough to hold in too much.
You will notice the really cool numpad, and it can plug in on either side of this. I think that I said that I like it on the left side, and that was true from how I shot it. Yeah, I usually have it on the right, because I am right-handed.
I wasn’t kidding about the buttons on the Numpad, because one of them did just shut my computer down, for some reason. I did not see that coming, but they are most certainly programmable and the File Manager is really great.
Now, I demonstrated the Numpad in the video, but I didn’t really show-off the Everest Media Dock, especially its Display Dial. I had no idea that it was a dial, but it is a circular display, and I like it. I also like the handy buttons of volume control and track advance, and such.
In short, the Everest Max is the complete package if you want to just get your game on your PC/laptop. It is also made for those who are into streaming as well.
Facts About The Company
Like I said before, I had never heard of Mountain, but then again, this happens to me a lot. From what I read from the website, the name of Mountain was chosen due to the nature of mountain climbing, hence the cool slogan of “Find Your Summit”.
Other than that, I was hoping to see if it is a new company, and I am just going to assume that it is.
What Does This Company Make?
I’m looking on the website, and I’m seeing only gaming accessories. I have a lot of companies that I have reviewed products for, and most of them have keyboards like this.

What Do the Reviews Say?
I’m seeing this particular keyboard on Amazon for about 4.1, out of 7 ratings. I have no idea how long this has been out, but honestly, I would have given it a 4.5 at least.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Well, we just reviewed a Kensington keyboard, as well as one from JLAB. There is also the Cherry XTRFY K5V2, but I’ve focused on Cherry and their keyboard stuff.
We had a great time reviewing the Drop CSTM80 and more. We also reviewed several ROCCAT keyboards, not to mention the one from Cooler Master.
