Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Okay, it has been a while since we have reviewed a ZAGG product, and this time, we have several. I’ll talk more about the company later, but now, I want to get into the chargers and cases that ZAGG sent me. You might have a lot more fun seeing me and the ZaggNutt (which are the same person) trying out these products personally.
Our Review of the ZAGG Mophie Powerstation Wireless XL with PD
You’ll be hearing a lot of a company called Mophie, and I believe that it is a company with ZAGG that specializes in chargers. I’ll start with the Powerstation Wireless XL, a portable battery with wireless charging and wired USB-C PD output.
So the Powerstation Wireless XL is compatible with Qi compliant wireless charging phones, and I’m to assume that it can do MagSafe compatible iPhones. The Powerstation Wireless XL is capable of a 50 percent charge in about 30 minutes, and the battery itself can do 2.1 full phone charges.
This is actually charging my phone now, and it works with lightweight cases. The Powerstation Wireless XL has a unique feel to it as there is this premium fabric finish.
Considering that all of us need a mobile battery every now and then, I would have to say that this Powerstation Wireless XL is quite a good investment for a good price.
Our Review of the ZAGG Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charging Mat
The ZAGG Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charging Mat is definitely designed for those who just want to come home from their day at work, and plop down their wireless charging devices on something to juice them up for the next usage.
You can see on the video that I tested all four places, so that means if you have all the Apple devices, think of it has a Hub. Like you can put your iPhone on it, your AirPods, and even an Apple Watch if you have your Apple Watch charger (you’ll have to plug in this strange accessory thing).
Now, you will be required to plug this into the wall. Speaking of plug, there is an extra USB-A port for even more charging possibilities. Not bad, not bad at all.
Our Review of the ZAGG Mophie Snap + Juice Pack Mini
Like the PowerStationXL, the Snap+ Juice Pack Mini is a mobile battery, and it works with Qi enabled smartphones as well. I mentioned how I wasn’t certain that the PowerStation XL worked with later MagSafe iPhones, but the Snap Juice Pack Mini comes with this thing where you measure your phone and stick this ring on your iPhone back. Since I don’t have an iPhone, I’m not certain if it works.
You can see in the video that I, or the ZaggNutt, if you will discovered that the Snap+ Juice Pack Mini stuck to the Qi-enabled smartphone that I was charging. Now, I’ve noticed that my phone, which has a heavy case, can charge on it, but you need to find that sweet spot, and then it sometimes did not stay charging. I saw the same effect with the PowerStation XL.
what I don’t seem to have is the time it takes to charge your smartphone, but it has 5,000 mAh. I hope that is enough to charge your smartphone once, as sometimes, that little makes the difference in the day.
Our Review of the ZAGG Mophie Snap+ 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand
So, what else should I say about the Snap+ 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand, except it is one less than the 4-in-1 wireless Charging Stand? I mean, that is the most obvious thing.
Actually, the Snap+ 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand has this extended post thing made to stick on your smartphone. Now, I have two phones that I could try this with, and there was one phone that stuck, but not enough to remain there (it failed its charging process). Then there is this other phone I had that would lean against this, but not stick, but it would charge, sometimes. None of these phones were iPhones, but there is a ring to help with MagSafe.
You might have seen in the video how I had an issue with the Apple Watch accessory. It was overcome, and now you will get 5W to 15W of power to the phone, earbuds, or smartwatch. There is an extra USB-C there as well.
Our Review of the ZAGG Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe
Okay, this is another 3-in-1 charger, and this one is made for the road. You can see in the image how it will fold up (without your devices on it), but what you don’t see is this cool travel case with a USB-C to USB-C cable and AC adapter.
When I tried this out, it worked on a Qi-enabled phone, but the two white pads were something else. One of them is made for the Apple Watch, and I believe that the other is made for a MagSafe iPhone. Unfortunately, I didn’t have either to try out, as I’m an Android guy.
Still, I have to admit that this Travel-sized 3-in-1 charger is handy for whatever you have to charge. The price is a little up there, though.
Our Review of the ZAGG Pro Stylus 2
Okay, you might have noticed on the video that since I didn’t have an iPad, I really couldn’t do an adequate demonstration of the Pro Stylus 2 in action. I mean, the big round end appears to work on any touchscreen, but the pointed end appears only to work on iPads 2018 or later.
I also didn’t demonstrate the cool charger that locks into place. It also attaches magnetically to the iPad, and appears to work with the Rugged Education Keyboard. There is a pen-click power on that I could feel, and there is some kind of tilt recognition as well.
I guess the only thing that we can talk about is the battery life, which is at six and a half hours. So yeah, if you need a new stylus for your iPad, the Pro Stylus 2 is waiting.
Our Review of the ZAGG Rugged Education Keyboard
And now, this cool wireless keyboard and case, made for the 10.2-inch iPad (Gen 7, 8, and 9). I didn’t have that tablet to demonstrate it with, but I have to admit that I loved its look.
I mean, this Rugged Education Keyboard is not only a great keyboard for the iPad, but it really has a lot of protection once the lid is closed. How good is it? Well, we’re talking 6.6 feet of drop protection. That is pretty good.
By the way, I tried to pair it with something else, and it worked, and, as I might have mentioned this before with the Pro Stylus 2, there is a groove that can accommodate the 1st gen Apple pencil and the ZAGG Pro Stylus, if I might add.
So, if you have a 10.2-inch iPad, then you should get yourself one of these, yeah!
Facts About The Company
As far as I know, I don’t think ZAGG is some kind of acronym for anything. According to the company website, ZAGG is a global leader in accessories and technologies to empower mobile lifestyles.
What is interesting is that ZAGG is not just one brand, but many. For example, there is the ZAGG “Life Unleashed” products made for a mobile lifestyle. Then there is the Invisible Shield products who were the original category creator of mobile screen protection. Then there is also the Gear4 stylish cases, with D3O, which is a market-leading impact production material. There is also Mophie, which is an award-winning designer of chargers, creator of the juice pack, which could be the first mobile battery (maybe, but they were one of the first that I remember seeing and reviewing).
What Does This Company Make?
As I have said before, the company makes a lot of products which include cases for mobile phones, screen protectors through Invisible Shield, chargers through Mophie, plus keyboards and other accessories.
Rather than talk about it, I think it would be better if I just put links to past ZAGG products with articles that I have written in the past.

Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!
There were specs listed on the individual entries of these ZAGG products, but it was only one figure: weight. Considering how long this article is, I could use a little trim.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
