I have to say that I've never played a video game like Republique, but I probably should have. I guess the best way I can describe this game is action/stealth, but it is better just to describe what the player is doing. The game takes place in some dystopian world that looks like 1984, but more modern. Yeah, I'm sure that that a lot of people might not get that … [Read more...] about Review of the Republique video game

Our Review of AR-K: The Great Escape
There is nothing like doing a review of a point-and-click game from Steam, and this one of AR-K: The Great Escape is a good one. Before I go any further, I just want to say that this game is not related to ARK: Survival Evolved. I got them mixed up as I was getting press info on both o them, and maybe we will have to do that ARK review some other time. I get the feeling that … [Read more...] about Our Review of AR-K: The Great Escape
Sword Coast Legends brings Dungeons and Dragons back to the video game arena
While I was at PAX Prime, I did something that I hadn't done in over twenty-five years: play Dungeons and Dragons. I have mentioned before how I quit playing simply because I just grew out of it here, but my Christian friends would surely not approve me starting D&D back without at least a lecture. But let's focus on the here and now, as I have no problem with anyone playing … [Read more...] about Sword Coast Legends brings Dungeons and Dragons back to the video game arena
Planet of the Eyes Game from Cococucumber
After visiting PAX Prime 2015, I was pleased to get a code for playing a game that I at least heard about at the convention called Planet of the Eyes from Cococucumber. I was glad that I tried it out, at it is my kind of game. Planet of the Eyes is a kind of platform/puzzle-solving game. The player is a robot who is roaming this alien world that looks like something out … [Read more...] about Planet of the Eyes Game from Cococucumber
Dead in Bermuda Game Review
I had a chance to try out two games over the weekend. As you might know, I really like playing games but I don't always have the time for them. In the case of Dead In Bermuda, I wish I had more time to give it, honestly. Dead in Bermuda is a game that looks like it has an inspiration from the show Lost. After all, it has a group of survivors who have survived a plane … [Read more...] about Dead in Bermuda Game Review
Our Review of Lumini
I first discovered Lumini at Momocon, and I thought it was just a beautiful looking game. I don't know why I just love games with a lot of colorful and yet shadowy atmosphere, but Lumini has it, in spades. Lumini is a unique game where the player is a flock of interesting birds or butterflies. There is kind of a unity thing going on as different colors of flying things … [Read more...] about Our Review of Lumini
Our Review of Tinertia
I had a chance to review some beautiful games, and this is one that I got to see played at PAX Prime 2015. Tinertia is one of those games that is good looking and yet hard to play. Tinertia is about a cute little robot named Weldon who ends up flying is spaceship near a planet when everything mechanical but him goes haywire. He awakes on an alien planet in the core, and … [Read more...] about Our Review of Tinertia
The Wii U Niche Market and Mario Party 10
As I reported a while ago, I bought a Wii U a while ago and enjoyed Super Mario World 3D. I have also reported the possibility that the days of Nintendo could be numbered. The thing is, I have had Mario Party 10 for a while, and I have just recently started playing it. I believe it is the Wii U's niche market. If you are not familiar with the Mario Party series, it is … [Read more...] about The Wii U Niche Market and Mario Party 10
Review of the addictive game “The Bridge” Game
Please don't let the monochromatic nature of these screenshots fool you, as The Bridge is one of the most advanced games that you will ever play. The issue isn't why it isn't in full color, but why no one has ever thought of a game like this before. The Bridge is inspired by the works of M.C. Escher, and if you haven't heard of him then you have probably seen some of his … [Read more...] about Review of the addictive game “The Bridge” Game
Wind-up Knight 2 comes to the Wii U
Normally, when I get a chance to try out video games, it is for Steam or the PS4, this time, I got to try it out for the Wii U, and I have to say that I was quite pleased with Robot Invader's Wind-up Knight 2 for Nintendo's Wii U. Unity Games recently brought Wind-up Knight 2 to the Wii U, and it was pretty popular on the Android and iOS, and it has an exorbitant amount of … [Read more...] about Wind-up Knight 2 comes to the Wii U
Actiontec ScreenBeam Mini2
I think it has been a while since I reviewed an Actiontec product, but the ScreenBeam Mini 2 is essentially made for streaming videos and photos from a compatible laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The way it works is that you connect that dongle to your HDTV, and then you can stream content from a compatible device to the TV. This means that you can go watch anything on … [Read more...] about Actiontec ScreenBeam Mini2
King’s Quest is making a comeback
I have reviewed a lot of point and click adventures before, most recently Anna's Quest. I'm always comparing them to King's Quest, a very early point and click adventure game inspired by Dungeons and Dragons and Choose Your Own Adventure stuff from the eighties, giving eighties kids precisely what they wanted. It would appear that King's Quest is back, and it will be … [Read more...] about King’s Quest is making a comeback
Caves of Qud Game available on Steam
Caves of Qud is another game on Steam that I have reviewed, and it is one that I think will only appeal to certain types of players. The issue that I had with Caves of Qud is the pronunciation. Is it Caves of Quid? Caves of Cod? Caves of Cud? Seriously, we are running out of game names these days that we have to just make up words like "Qud". Yeah, that is … [Read more...] about Caves of Qud Game available on Steam
FIFA 16 cover will feature women on the cover for the first time
If you aren't familiar with FIFA, it is one of the biggest sports franchise games ever. Yes, it is bigger than NBA 2K, MLB, and Madden series of games based on basketball, baseball, and football, respectively. I'm not certain how we are looking as far as gender equality is concerned, but there is something new when it comes to video games. FIFA 16 is the first sports game … [Read more...] about FIFA 16 cover will feature women on the cover for the first time
“No Time To Explain” is insane game
Since I get an opportunity to test out Steam games every once in a while, it is great to see one that is just plain insane. In this case, the insanity completely works for No Time To Explain. No Time To Explain is a remake of tinyBuild's debut game, and I guess I never played the game the first time. I really wish I had, because this game is a whole load of fun. The … [Read more...] about “No Time To Explain” is insane game
