Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I have no idea what Epomaker means, but this company has made quite a gaming keyboard. You have to love the Magcore 87 keyboard, and I fully intend to tell you all about it. So let’s get to it.
This Magcore 87 Gaming Keyboard has a TKL layout, and I had no idea what that meant until today. The TKL stands for Ten Key Less which means that it has no Ten Key on the side, but hey, the layout is made to keep everything in your fingers’ reach.
I also discovered that the Magcore 87 has adjustable actuation technology, which means you can customize the activation point of the keys to the preference. So if you want that light touch or rapid-fire gaming or just deeper press for your typing comfort, you can have that.
If you watch the video, you can see me talk about 8K Polling Rate in Type-C Wired Connection. I happened to mention that I didn’t know what that was, but apparently, the high poling rate minimizes input lag, which means that every keystroke is registered with precision. Also, that wired connection provides a stable signal, which is good for competitive gaming.
So, this thing has is equipped with inductive switches for some seriously stable and consistent performance. It prevents key chatter and precise key registration, and it is quite the typing experience. Seriously, I really like the subtle taps this thing makes as I write this article, really. I think I talked about the keys here, and how the Esc, Backspace, Enter, and Spacebar are transparent, but it also includes the versions that match the rest of the keyboard.
About the only thing that I haven’t covered is the RGB backlights, which I hopefully got a good shot of on video, and at the time of this writing, I haven’t got the footage of that yet.
Yeah, this is all very good, and I love this thing. The only thing that I found weird is how heavy this thing is. It is weird, but hey, there’s a lot to this, so I guess it carries that weight.
You can purchase this on the Epomaker site for about $199.99.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I’m going to be looking at gaming keyboards rather than the regular type. For example, the Everest Max Gaming Keyboard. Then there is the Cherry XTRFY K5V2 Gaming Keyboard Compact. Then there is the Drop ALT Mechanical Keyboard, not to mention the ROCCAT Magma Mini. Then there is the Cooler Master CK720 Gaming Keyboard.
