J5Create Review: JTSA302 Ergonomic Dual-Monitor Mount with Docking Station and JCD620 Mini Docking Station for Nintendo Switch

May 12, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

We have reviewed J5Create products before, and this is going to be two of three products that I am reviewing. I’ll start with the Ergonomic Dual-Monitor Mount with Docking Station, the JTSA302.

So, I will have to say that if you are looking for something that will hold your displays, this is one of your options. You can mount them pretty easily, and when you can swivel to the point that you can go to portrait and landscape mode. You can even put them back to back. It’s crazy.

The stand itself has two HDMI ports, both 4K60. Other ports on the stand include SD/microSD, two USB-C 10Gps ports, a USB Type-A 10Gbps, a USB Type-A 5Gps, and the Gigabit Ethernet. On one side is the power in up to 100W PD, and then there is a USB-C host cable.

I am told that there is twice performance than other USB-C 3.1 Hubs. I tried it out, but discovered that the displays that I had were not HDMI. By the way, you will have to get the base screwed down, and that could affect the condition of your table.

So, here’s what is really interesting, a JCD620 Mini Docking Station for the Nintendo Switch. Essentially, you can open it up like you see in the image and mount your Switch there.

Not only that, you got a whole lot of ports. I mean, you got a Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI, up to PD 100W PD Power In, and two USB Type A. What is really great is how this one switch is made to turn it on from tablet mode to TV mode.

I had some interesting stuff with this JCD620, as sometimes you would click it on and it would work, but sometimes, no. Part of it is that it is connected to another J5Create product that I had, and my TV just didn’t quite recognize it right away. I was pretty easily overcome.

Facts About The Company

J5Create was founded in 2010, and it is one of the largest computer accessory brands, with high-performance innovation. Yes, you can find their products at your local Wal-Mart, and it is made for more than just the typical consumer.

It feels like J5Create makes very great and innovative products, and considering the company was founded by technology enthusiasts, that tracks. They seem to have 5 early adopters or founders, hence the name of J5Create. They created the Newport Station, the first USB 2.0 docking station to use slim aluminum curved housing.

What Does This Company Make?

I’m just going to name the products that I have reviewed. You can see and Omni Review: JCD401, JCD403, JCD393, JCD387, JCT425, JUPW2106, and JTS224, which were all docking stations of some type. We also reviewed a JVA02, a Live Capture Adapter HDMI, and then there was USB-C Travel Dock JCDP392. Then there was the JCA366, a 4-Port HDMI Multi-Monitor. Anything else, just search “J5Create” search on my main site, and you’ll see everything before 2020.

What Do the Reviews Say?

I don’t really have anything from the J5Create website, and I can’t find this on Amazon just yet.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I believe that I reviewed the Cyber Acoustics Essential Universal Docking Station DS-6000. Then there was the VisionTek VT2900 USB-C Dual System KVM Docking Station. We also reviewed that Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Dock for 4K Dual Monitors or Single 8K with 100W Laptop Charging.
