Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
It has been a while since we reviewed one of those great Epomaker products, but it hasn’t really been less than a month. That would be the Magcore 87, and the company was nice enough to send me three more keyboards.
Our Review of the Epomaker Galaxy 65 Keyboard
Let’s get to what the website tells me: “features a ball-catch gasket-mount and 6-layer cushioning with lubed linear switches, delivering a creamy, smooth typing experience enhanced by VIA customization for productivity and gaming”. So, yes, this appears to be a gaming keyboard, and that would be a theme for these three, and they all have lights on their keys. By the way, I’ve made videos on all three of these, and special videos of their lighted keys.
This is the 65 percent compact layout which has 66 keys and a knob. This is the only one of the three keys that I am reviewing that has that knob, good for volume control and muting. Now, it should be known that this keyboard has triple-mode of connectivity, the wired, Bluetooth, and the 2.4 GHz dongle. This dongle can clip onto the wire, and you just plug it in and hit the switch and you are hooked up. By the way, all the keyboards that I’m talking about can do that, and I checked them out personally. If you don’t believe me, scroll down and watch the YouTube vids.
So, this has full key hot-swappable sockets that are compatible with 5 pin switches. I really don’t know what that really means, as I’m not big on ripping out my switches with the included tweezers or whatever they have here. However, the sound of the keys clicking is pretty great, and I included a picture of all the layers required to make this work.
I’ll go ahead and talk about the really cool parts like the battery life, and it is at 200 hours with a 4000mAh rechargeable battery. If you like you can get it on the Epomaker site in Black or Silver for about $109.99.
Our Review of the Epomaker G84 Keyboard
Okay, so what does this particular keyboard say about itself on its website? It says: “the G84 delivers a premium gasket-mounted typing experience with 5-layer sound dampening and pre-lubed switches, offering creamy acoustics and smooth responsiveness for both gaming and productivity”. You can see in the video how much I disliked the use of the word “creamy”, which is because I have a sick mind.
I also really don’t like the use of the term “pre-lubed”, and I really need to become more mature. Still, these have the hot swappable switches, not to mention some well-tuned plate-mount stabilizers, not to mention some ergonomic cherry profile PBT keycaps. The G84 is an 80 compact gasket design, and it is also tri-mode with some very interesting backlighting in many colors and patterns.
If you like to get yourself a G84 keyboard, head on over to the Epomaker site and pay about $79.99 for it.
Our Review of the Epomaker TH85 Keyboard
I think when I was doing the video for this keyboard, I believe that I said that it looks like the other keyboard. I’m starting to have trouble keeping track of these particular keyboards, as stuff starts to bleed together when you are reviewing similar products. It’s like when you’re binge-watching a TV show and you can’t keep track of each episode.
Let’s get to what the website says about this: “The TH85 Gaming Keyboard greatly enhances gaming experience with low latency, anti-ghosting, and precise keystrokes, allowing for rapid response times during intense gameplay”. This is an 80 percent QWERTY, and it has the triple forms of connectivity. It also has the lighting of the keys, and there is a definite “stripe” around the border with very pretty lights.
I think something that I mentioned in the video that this is a QMK keyboard with that chip in it. I don’t remember the other keyboards bragging about that. So I guess that all these keyboards aren’t the same, right?
All right, so if you want to get in on this, head on down to the Epomaker site and pay about $79.99.
Facts About The Company
Remember when I said that I didn’t know why it was called Epomaker, well, it is actually short for Epoch of Makers. The company is committed to providing feature-packed keyboards for every mechanical keyboard enthusiast.
What Does This Company Make?
In case you can’t tell, Epomaker makes keyboards. Oh, they also make the Switches and Keycaps for them, too. They also make the accessories for the keyboards as well. Now, I just found out that this company makes Mice, so perhaps I should review some of those.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I’m going to be looking at gaming keyboards rather than the regular type. For example, the Everest Max Gaming Keyboard. Then there is the Cherry XTRFY K5V2 Gaming Keyboard Compact. Then there is the Drop ALT Mechanical Keyboard, not to mention the ROCCAT Magma Mini. Then there is the Cooler Master CK720 Gaming Keyboard.
