Our Review of the Catalyst Influence Case for the iPhone 15

January 27, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

So, it is time to do some awesome review for a cool Catalyst product. Normally, when I do Catalyst, I talk about protection, and they make it for iPhones, Apple Airbuds, or AirTags.

So, let’s talk about the Influence. I’m very certain that I have reviewed an Influence case, but not for the newest version of the iPhone. Is it called that because it is an Influence, like it has 2.5 times drop protection and thirty percent louder sound.

All of that comes down to 10 feet of military drop protection, but maybe you don’t need to worry about that with the included lanyard. Hey, I suddenly realized that I didn’t mention there is this mute button that is unique to this product.

So, you won’t get any waterproof protection, like some Catalyst cases, but you will get something for your iPhone to shield it from certain things.

Facts About The Company

According to the “About Us” on the Catalyst website, it says: “We design and manufacture iconic products for people, businesses and organizations that can help them protect their personal devices, company assets and health”.

I feel like Catalyst is made for the same audience as GoPro, because these cases and accessories are made for those people who want to go on some serious adventures. They are a definitely recognized brand with award winning innovation sine 2010.

What Does This Company Make?

They are most well-known for their cases, which provide protection for phones, and I believe that they only do iPhones, at least for now. They do some accessories as well, as they protect iPads, Airpods, Apple Watches, and AirTags. As for other non-Apple products, they protect Samsung and Google earbuds.

Just the Specs, Man

If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!

As it turns out, Catalyst makes this protective case for all kinds of iPhones, so I go the specs here:

iPhone 15 (L) 155mm x (W) 81mm x (H) 13.5mm / (L) 6.10″ (W) 3.19″ (H) 0.53″
iPhone 15 Pro (L) 154mm x (W) 78mm x (H) 14.3mm / (L) 6.06″ (W) 3.07″ (H) 0.56″
iPhone 15 Plus (L) 168mm x (W) 87mm x (H) 13.5mm / (L) 6.61″ (W) 3.42″ (H) 0.53″
iPhone 15 Pro Max (L) 167mm x (W) 84mm x (H) 14.3mm / (L) 6.57″ (W) 3.31″ (H) 0.56″

If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.

What Do the Reviews Say?

There’s a review on Amazon for 2.5 stars out of 3 ratings, and this is the Stealth Black version. I couldn’t find the type that you see in the image on Amazon, for some reason. I found the version without MagSafe, and I don’t get it. On the Catalyst site, it has 2 five-star ratings.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Okay, I Like It, Just Give Me The Link So I Can Buy It Already!

All right, here’s the Amazon link.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I’m going to just put all of the times that I talked about Catalyst products. This is our last review of the Influence cases, not to mention the Crux Series. Then we reviewed a lot of products for the iPhone 13 by Catalyst. Oh yes, we reviewed the AirTag products.
