Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
The answer that I have is: of course. This is a speaker that you can use in the shower (it has an IPX7 rating), and you don’t have to power it, as it is powered by the water that runs through it from your shower. It’s kind of like like a miniature dam that can create a super LED-powered lightshow. I am told it has 16 hours worth of sound when fully charged and when the shower is off.
So how is the sound? Well, I recommend watching the video below for that. If you watch it, you can see that I went for a kind of parody of a trailer that Alfred Hitchcock did for “Psycho”. The sound of me imitating the theme song is a live recording, and hopefully I won’t get flagged by YouTube. Of course, you can check out my TikTok video, where I play a really cool song that I just fell in love with called “Wavin’ Flag” by K’NAAN. I’m glad Tik Tok just lets you play anything, really.
Pairing the speaker was a little bit difficult, as I had a phone that required me to download this app for it. Once you get it, everything is was just terrific.
Now, as far as the light show is concerned, it is awesome to see the LED lights, which you can control with an App. By the way, you can track temperature and water usage through the application as well. So it is very earth-friendly, and it is made from recycled from ocean plastic from 16 recovered plastic bottles.
I have to admit that I went really crazy with my video is because I really admire this product, and I’m surprise that I’ve never seen anything like it.
This Bluetooth Speaker isn’t really the only thing that we reviewed, and even in the video, we didn’t talk about the remote control. We also didn’t talk about the wall mountable phone holder as well. I didn’t even bother with the Loofah or however that is pronounced.
Facts About The Company
I first encountered Ampere at a CES, and I was very impressed by what I saw, which was a really cool charger that can fold up. I reviewed that one, but it made me realize what this company wanted to do.
Ampere is all about “real innovation”, and I will list a few products below that reveal that they are quite creative when it comes to innovating. I mean, this Bluetooth Speaker for the shower that is essentially a mini hydro-electric power station is up there with the likes of the light bulb.
Ampere has declared themselves as a sustainable tech company, not wanting to use single-use plastic in the packaging. Ampere also donates 5 percent of annual profits to Solar Aid, and tries to give great customer service.
What Does This Company Make?
Like I said before, we reviewed a product known as Unravel and the Side Pocket. One of them is a Foldable Travel Wireless Charger, and quite a feat being able to charge three devices at once, which is good if you own the Apple iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. The Side Pocket is an interesting piece of tech with its wireless charging ability.

As far as any stereo speaker that is powered by the water from your shower, what search terms do I use?
I’ll go ahead and just tell you about the Waterproof Bluetooth speakers that I have reviewed.
I mean, years ago, I reviewed something from iHome, and I really should get back to reviewing their products for the holiday season. Oh, and I forgot about this cool WOW-Sound speaker that is made for the bathtub. I am not certain how many speakers that I can recommend taking into the shower or bathtub.
