Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Oh my gosh! So I had a chance to review UGREEN products once again as they unexpectedly arrived at my door. They are both chargers, and one of them is the Fast Charging Power Bank and the other the Magnetic Wireless Power Bank.

Our Review of the UGREEN Fast Charging Power Bank

Last time, we were reviewing some UGREEN chargers, like the type that can plug into a wall. This time, it is about mobile batteries. The 25,000 mAh Fast Charging Power Bank is quite a good one.

I mentioned on my video that I wasn’t certain if this particular product is 100W or 145W. If you want to call me out for it, I will say that the official website says both.

No matter what, you can get 100W fast charging for a 90 minute full charge on a 2022 13-inch MacBook Air. Those are not the only numbers I have as you can charge a MacBook Pro 14″ 1.3 times, a Galaxy S23 Ultra 3.0 times, a Nintendo Switch 4.3 times, and an iPhone 14 a whopping 5.6 times.

As stated before, the Fast Charging Power Bank has a 25,000 mAh Gigantic Capacity. It also has a two-way fast charging capability to recharge two devices will recharging. And unlike most mobile batteries, there isn’t just four lights that are an indicator, as it actually has a numerical value.

About the only downside is one the I mentioned on the radio, as the Fast Charging Power Bank is pretty heavy. It isn’t exactly pocket-sized, unless you have a big pocket. It’s probably better suited for a zipper pocket on a suitcase or bag rather than a pocket on your person.

So, let’s talk about the Magnetic Wireless Power Bank. This one is a mobile battery, but it is more specified for the iPhone. And by iPhone, I mean those with the MagSafe compatible ones.

I have seen a lot of mobile batteries like this, which have a kickstand. This allows you to prop up the iPhone in portrait or landscape mode, and you can wirelessly charge your iPhone while you’re watching a video or other usages.

Of course, if you don’t have an iPhone, you can charge pretty much anything. I mean, you can charge three devices with the USB-C or USB-A ports, with another on the MagSafe pad. It has 10,000 mAh and it can charge iPhone 14/13/12 Pro two times, and 1.5 times for an iPhone 14/13/12 Pro Max.

Best of all, the Magnetic Wireless Power Bank is light and very pocket-sized. So, I have to admit that it is quite good, and I will recommend it for iPhone users especially, but anyone can use it for just about anything.

Facts About The Company

Like I said in my video, this is my first time reviewing a UGREEN product, but I did encounter them at CES 2023 last January. I could see that this was a company that was dedicated to sustainability, which was a big buzzword at the big tech convention this year.

It’s pretty clear with their products that they value humanity and social responsibility. Not only that, they like the products that promote that. They seem to have hundreds of millions of users, which makes me wonder what I am not seeing with this company.

What Does This Company Make?

Like I said, hundreds of millions of users can’t be wrong, so it is pretty amazing that they have a wide diversity of chargers, hubs/adapters, power stations, docking stations, cables, stands/protectors, and car chargers. So yeah, this company is very busy with what it is they do.

What Do the Reviews Say?

I found that the UGREEN Fast Charging Power Bank has 17 reviews on the UGREEN site which average at about 4.7 stars. The average is slightly lower on Amazon 4.5 stars at 486 reviews total.

As for the UGREEN Foldable Kickstand Magnetic Battery, I couldn’t find any reviews on the UGREEN site. Amazon has 3,478 ratings on Amazon that averages at 4.6 stars.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

Let’s see, how many mobile batteries have we reviewed? I would say quite a lot. Let me just do some interesting searches.

You know what, I just did a search for that, and I can’t seem to find any mobile batteries that I reviewed in the past few years. I could have sworn that I used to review one of those per week. I mean, I can’t remember the last time that I reviewed a myCharge product, but it was a while ago.

I am seeing a lot of these “kickstand” style chargers. Over ten years ago we reviewed this one from Odoyo that had no magnetic charging ability, I think. We did that great review of the ESR products. Oh yes, and we reviewed the VOLTME MagPak 5K, as well as that other product that is similar from UAG.
