Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
This is going to be one of those reviews where I discuss Urban Armor Gear, a company that I am very familiar with. Lately, I have been doing huge omni-reviews of their products, and I have to admit that I didn’t do it for this one.
In case you are one of my readers who watches my video first, then you should know that I don’t discuss the Civilian for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I already covered that in Part One here.
Our Review of the Scout Case for Google Pixel 8 Case
I’m pretty certain that we have reviewed a Scout case for one of the iPhone series, but since the Google Pixel 8 is brand new, I had to get a good look at it. It has a signature UAG armor shell and then there is this hex pattern for increased shock absorption.
In addition to that great feature, it meets military drop-test standards, but I’m not certain how high you can drop it from. Oh, it has the raised camera bezel to protect the camera lens, which is good, because I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Google Pixel 8.
Our Review of the Kevlar Core USB-C to USB-C Power Cable
So, I will admit that I wasn’t really expected a lot from a charging cable, but I will admit that the Kevlar Core USB-C to USB-C Power Cable is something very special. I have to admit, this is the first charging cable that I have seen to have this integrated tie, which means you should easily curl it.
The Kevlar Core USB-C to USB-C cable is very hard, and it can withstand over 50,000 bends. It has a reinforced Kevlar core, which is a material that exists on a lot of UAG cases.
It supports safe and reliable fast charging of up to 60 watts, has a 480 Mbps data transfer capability. Like I mentioned before, the Core USB-C to USB-C cable is made for tough terrain and extreme activities.
Our Review of the UAG [U] Mouve Laptop Sleeve
It’s time to talk about Mouve again. Believe me, I like to Mouve it, Mouve it! I actually forget what the Mouve series is designed around, but this is the Mouve 16-inch laptop sleeve.
The Mouve 16-inch laptop sleeve has a magnetic flap, in spite of what I said in the video. It can accommodate one of those MacBook 16-inch laptops, and I have no idea what percentage of laptops this would cover. Hopefully, yours will fit!
It is quite convenient as it has this zipper pocket for all of the laptop accessories. Granted, this version is white, so I don’t know how easy it will be to keep clean.
Our Review o the Plasma Series Surface Go 3
I believe that I have covered the Plasma series of cases on many smartphones, so it makes sense to make one for the Surface Pro. I have to admit that I haven’t really had much experience with the Surface Pro series, but any mobile device will need protection.
The Plasma Series has a very transparent shell, which has that UAG look to it. It also has a cool strap so the Surface Pro 3 can be carried around like a purse.
Oh, it can also be carried by a 360-degree rotational hand strap, which I didn’t show the rotational ability on my video. I also forgot to mention the kickstand to create a laptop-like workstation.
I did cover the dedicated pen storage, so that is something. By the way, the Plasma Series for the Surface Go 3, and it is compatible with the Microsoft Type Cover Keyboard.
Facts About The Company
Imagine that it is 2012, and the world is about to end because of some Mayan calendar thing. In Orange County, the action sports center of the world, the company of Urban Armor Gear (UAG) figured out that the case market really sucked, so they developed their versions of popular products. Okay, maybe really sucked is not the proper word, but perhaps room for improvement could take place. Honestly, besides Otterbox and other major brands, I think UAG really has what it takes to beat one of the biggest players in the case game.
What Does This Company Make?
If you want cases, UAG literally has you covered. Then there is some straps as well. But it is mostly cases for smartphones and tablets, as well as straps for smart watches.
I think I’m just going to put in links for my other UAG reviews for the past year, and the first of them comes from just a week ago:

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
So, there is a lot about cases for UAG, and I’ll talk about that in my other reviews.
I suppose you could go with Otterbox for a case, but their cases are pretty up there in price. I would have to say UAG is only somewhat up there in price, but not to far. I mean, you have to pay for protection.
We recently reviewed some ZAGG cases, and I can’t remember if one of them was for a Google Pixel 8.
The only sleeve that I have reviewed was that of UAG, and I haven’t really reviewed any type of protection for the Surface Pro 3.
