Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
We just reviewed some Epomaker keyboards, and now we’re reviewing more with the AULA F99 and F108 keyboards. I think AULA might be related to Epomaker, like a series within the company, I’m not sure.
Our Review of the Epomaker AULA F99 Keyboard
So, this is the AULA F99, which is a 98 percent gasket-mounted hot-swappable wireless mechanical keyboard. It also has full-key hot-swappable sockets, and I have to admit, I’m not really certain what all that means.
It does have a 96 percent layout or 1800, which means it has 99 keys, including the numerical ones. I have a demonstration in the video where you hear the clickity-click, and it has a set-up that allows such quiet set-up with five-layer padding.
Of course, I have the demonstration where I show off all the lighting combinations, and there are a great many. I believe that I show off how it can be hooked up in three different ways as well with wired, dongle, and Bluetooth.
You can get it on the Epomaker site for a price of $89.99, and cheaper if you get the pink version, like the one that I demonstrated.
Our Review of the Epomaker AULA F108 Keyboard
So, this guy has a five layer sound dampening design, which has that “creamy, quite keystroke” perfect for both office productivity and immersive gaming. Why does this company insist on using the term “creamy” to describe their products?
Anyway this has a full US layout with 108 keys, and has five-layer sound with dampening materials, which is why it types so darn quietly. It has a flex-cut PC plate and fine-tuned stabilizers.
There is also three-way connectivity which I tested out with all 3 combinations, wired, wireless dongle, and Bluetooth. You can see me test it out in the video, and I also have tested out all of the RGB lighting.
If you want to get in on this, head on over to the Epomaker/AULA website for about $89.99.
Facts About The Company
Remember when I said that I didn’t know why it was called Epomaker, well, it is actually short for Epoch of Makers. The company is committed to providing feature-packed keyboards for every mechanical keyboard enthusiast.
I noticed on the packaging that there is a label saying AULA, so I’m guessing this is some kind of offshoot company? Apparently, the company is inspired by the agility and ferocity of a wolf spider, and I think I would remember hearing that before with all of these weird comparisons.
What Does This Company Make?
Like I said before, Epomaker not only makes a mouse, but Epomaker makes keyboards. Oh, they also make the Switches and Keycaps for them, too. They also make the accessories for the keyboards as well. That goes for the AULA, too.
