Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Well, it is time to do another review another fine Turtle Beach product! This time, it is another controller known as the REACT-R. Just so you know, this actually isn’t the first time that I have reviewed this, but I saw the Minecraft green pattern and just had to request it. Oh, it is also available in other colors that are brand new, like this galactic purple mix along with this cool orange style.
Also just so you know, the Turtle Beach REACT-R is made for the Xbox (Series X or S), but it is also made for Windows 10 and 11, which is what I tested it on. You should know that it works with a little plug-and-play action, which means no having to tell your computer to be expecting it. That means you can get to the game, fast!
I’m not really certain what to say about this controller, other than it is an Xbox controller. As someone who isn’t a professional gamer and doesn’t really have an intention of becoming one, the REACT-R has two mappable quick-action buttons the backside of the controller to customize controls for quicker reactions.
Something that I forgot to check out in the video but will confirm is that there is vibration feedback in the handles and triggers. Oh, and you can plug in a 3.5 mm headset in order to upgrade the audio with quick-access controls for Superman Hearing (this is trademarked). There is also a game and chat volume balance, and mic mute.
Yes, the Turtle Beach REACT-R is a lot of fun, and officially licensed for Xbox. If you have a gamer on your Christmas list, this would be a great gift.
Facts About The Company
I have reviewed many Turtle Beach products before, as you can see when I talk about what else the company makes. I don’t know if Turtle Beach was first to the make third-party gaming headsets, but it would not surprise me if they were. They have been a fan-favorite brand for a while, and we’re always pleased to review them.
What Does This Company Make?
I should also take the time to say that Turtle Beach is also over the ROCCAT brand, bringing German innovation with genuine passion for PC gaming products. Oh yes, they also make Neat Microphones, and we have also reviewed those. Just go ahead and skip to the end of the article if you want to see some other headsets Turtle Beach has reviewed, and you can just do a search for gaming mice, as Turtle Beach has made a lot of them. Here is the Stealth Pro Review that I did a few months ago. The last time we reviewed a Turtle Beach product was the Recon 70 Gaming Headphones and Velocity One Flightstick.

What Do the Reviews Say?
Generally, when doing a product review, I usually find the product on Amazon, and put a link to it, but I can’t seem to find this product on Amazon, at least with the new color schemes. The REACT-R controllers that I do find are ten dollars cheaper, which could be the type that I reviewed last year, which is the last time I reviewed this product.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
We reviewed some products from GameSir with the Cyclone and Cyclone Pro, and we also reviewed the G7 Wired Controller.
If you do a search for Turtle Beach on my website, TheGeekChurch.com, you will find many types of controllers, with the Atom and Recon Cloud made for mobile devices. I reviewed the Recon about two years ago, which was made for Xbox. Anything else was more than five years ago.
