Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
All right, we had a chance to review not one, but three products from Poly, which is a company that I believe is an offshoot of HP, and they make some great products.
Our Review of the Poly Voyager Focus 2-M Microsoft Teams Certified USB-A Headset
I’ve reviewed Voyager headsets before, and the Voyager Focus 2-M is not made for pleasure, but rather, for business. In fact, it is Microsoft Teams Certified USB-A Headset, so it is made for, I don’t know, all those calls that you want to make on your computer or mobile device.
In fact, you can see in the video how I hooked it up to my laptop, and it was pretty easy. You can also see how it rests in the charger, just so you can get some juice. I was kind of hoping that this charger was a way to link a computer to the headphones themselves, but that didn’t really happen. There was this dongle that was extremely helpful on getting some wireless action going on. However, you can also use Bluetooth if you want to go wireless that way, that, or just stay wired, because that is an option.
Something that I want to discuss is the three levels of Advanced Noise Cancellation (ANC). It’s definitely made for keeping outside noise out, which will come in handy when you are taking that very important call, that is for sure. By the way, the battery is good for 19 hours of wireless talk time with the ANC on.
So yes, it is a pretty good deal if you mean business. It is available on the HP/Poly website for an MSRP price of $335.95, but at the time of this writing, it is about $209.95.
Our Review of the Poly Sync 20-M Speakerphone + USB-A to USB-C Cable
Okay, now for another business tool with the Poly Sync 20 USB/Bluetooth smart speakerphone. I mean, if you have one of those conference rooms and need to do some kind of business meeting of some kind. In fact, the Sync 20-M Speakerphone has a three-microphone array that focuses on the voices of the users, not all the outside noises around.
Now, if you want to use the Poly Sync 20-M wirelessly, you can do that thanks to the power of Bluetooth or the included dongle. However, there is this cool wire that wraps around the bottom which can just plug into your laptop’s USB-A port. Of course, you can watch on the video to see a demonstration of that, but I did have to tell my computer what was an input or output in my Settings.
As a bonus feature, there is a USB-A port so you can be charging something as you use this. Speaking of charging, the device itself has up to 20 hours of battery life.
If you want to give this a shot for your own business, be sure to head to the HP/Poly website and lay down $119.99 for it.
Our Review of the Poly Voyager Legend 50-M Headset UC
Now, I have to admit that I thought they weren’t making Bluetooth headsets like this anymore. I mean, seriously, I think most of us just have Bluetooth earbuds and that is usually the extent of our wireless headsets these days.
Man, I talk like I’m so old, but this is only a recent technological development. Speaking of that, I just heard that the Legend uses Poly NoiseBlock AI, to make certain that you are not hearing any unwanted background noise while you are making your important business calls.
One thing that I like is its charging case, which it can give you up to 10 hours of talk time, and it can support Qi wireless charging. The Voyager Legend 50-M folds up pretty well, and there is a USB-C dongle included, and I think I got that wireless connection to work right away. Of course, it’s easy to hook this up via Bluetooth.
Oh hey, this thing has a mute button, not to mention these volume up and down buttons on the top. If this sounds something that you want, you can head over to the HP/Poly website and pay $164.99 for it.
Facts About The Company
I’m not certain what the vision of Poly is, or how it got started, but it certainly seems to be on a good track. In fact, it looks like they have combined with HP. It would appear that Poly makes products made for the office, as you will see.
Yes, I just cut-and-pasted that first paragraph, but I have found out some more information. Apparently, Poly was actually the company known as Plantronics. Plantronics is a company that I have reviewed for quite a while.
What Does This Company Make?
I have reviewed a webcam from them a while ago. Not to mention some kind of speakerphone, a pink one. They make headsets and anything else you might need for the office, or the home office. We also reviewed these cool earbuds that have a display on them, the Poly Voyager Free 60+ UC Earbuds. Oh, and then there is this Poly Voyager 5200 UC Bluetooth Headset.
I might as well talk about how Plantronics did a lot of products, and how I’ve reviewed them as well.

Wireless Earbuds: BackBeat FIT 300 by Plantronics
Plantronics RIG SURROUND PC Gaming Headset
Plantronics RIG Headset and Mixer
BackBeat GO 2 from Plantronics
Any other Plantronics products are over a decade old and have definitely changed throughout the years.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I don’t really review many headphones with mics like this. You can do a headphone search if you want to.
As for speakerphones, you can also do a search for those too.
That headset feels like a thing of the past, but I’m pretty certain that I did reviews of some products like that.
