Here's something interesting. The MATTRACKS, a way of making a scooter with a tank tread that goes through the snow. If you don't want to go on the snow, try this: Chariot Skates, for the summertime! The Picture Table is a table that can fold up into a poster. Looking for a good prank? Try the PC Prankster. Motion Mimicking Robotic Pugilists
Did you ever play that Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots when you were a kid? If you haven't, it used no electronics, but two players would face off against each other and then punch the other until a special spot is hit to make the robot's head pop up. Yeah, good times. Now you can take your robo-boxing game to another level with two robots with infrared controllers built-in. … [Read more...] about Motion Mimicking Robotic Pugilists
Tech News for the Day, Weekend Edition, December 19-20, 2009
Once again, not a lot of posts but the wrap-ups. We'll start with a simple one. The iPhone may go to Verizon. I repeat, may. The Aigo EB6301 is an e-book reader designed for all. Here's another tablet from Sagem called the Orange Tabbee. Here's Burton Technologies Acoustiglove that really do something about the cord problem. Here is the Klipsch X10i, which … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Weekend Edition, December 19-20, 2009

Sorry I haven't done much posts lately, as I've been pretty blogged down. We'll start with something that might offend some Christians. Some people are working on Dungeons and Dragons for the Surface. Here's a simple device that can remove lids from jars. It is the Black and Decker Lids Off Jar Opener. This Yotaro Baby Simulator is weird, and it even has … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Friday, December 18, 2009

Here's an interesting piece of tech: a hovering UAV from Cyber Technology. It can shoot video too. Here's a new concept tech called the SCOPE with some augmented reality. This is the KOR-fx, that can make sound from games, movies, and music hit right to the chest. For those that like to walk while texting should use this Type n Walk iPhone app. An old … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Thursday, December 17, 2009
Caprica on SyFy
Fans of the Battlestar Galactica series that had its end last Spring should enjoy Caprica, which just made its appearance on Hulu. That's pretty good, because I do most of TV watching on Hulu anyway. This two-hour pilot was actually available on DVD months ago. I suppose SyFy wanted the money from diehard BSG fans who just "had to see" the prequel. I had pretty low … [Read more...] about Caprica on SyFy

Start with something simple: The Adidas phone! Unconfirmed, though. Microsoft and Apple haven't exactly been best buds, but Microsoft Bing is now available on the Apple iPhone. Belkin has a new Bluetooth Music Receiver. For those that want to take their drums on the road, try out this Roll Up Drum kit that attaches via USB. JVC has a new iPod Speaker dock … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Wednesday, December 16, 2009
PermaFLOW easily unclogs the drain
I once had my drain clog, and it was quite a pain. Granted, mine plugged up way down the line, but a lot of clogs happen in the bend. I suppose this is why someone created this PermaFLOW. It is a way of unclogging the drain simply by turning this wheel and the blockage should help clear itself up. At least, that is the theory. I wonder how well it really works. … [Read more...] about PermaFLOW easily unclogs the drain
Boeing 787 Dreamliner finally takes flight
I grew up in the Seattle area, and Boeing was quite close by. In fact, you could hear it from miles around. I've been hearing about this Boeing 787 for years. It finally took its maiden flight, and guess what, there were no complications. It took off and landed, something that we all want our planes to do. I can't help but feel that there is probably a story here … [Read more...] about Boeing 787 Dreamliner finally takes flight

Might as well start with this one: The Ultimate R2-D2 statue that comes with its own set of tools. Check out this Copenhagen bicycle wheel. It can do some pretty cool stuff. You should see this Emperor 1510. Talk about a power chair. Note the OpenOffice Mouse has changed its name to the WarMouse Meta. Sony Walkman S745 has come to the States, except for … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Tuesday, December 15, 2009
Adidas Star Wars Shoes
Clearly, Adidas has now become an acronym for "All day I Dream about StarWars". Granted, I had to make Star Wars one word in order for that to work, and I won't tell you the original version of that acronym (because you probably already know it). For some reason, and let's just say that it's money, Adidas went and made themselves some Star Wars shoes. They come in four … [Read more...] about Adidas Star Wars Shoes
Morphius Case Mod
I'm not certain what possessed this modder named Maciel to do this robotic case for his computer, but let's just say that it was something good. Granted, what would you think if you came into a friend's home and saw the Morphius, this evil robot looking thing? Hopefully, you wouldn't do the Christian thing and try and cast it out. Instead, compliment the person who made … [Read more...] about Morphius Case Mod

I'll start off with the Sugru, a very intriguing putty that lets you hack your own devices. The CoolerBot is an interesting device that can take some outdoor pictures by remote control. I'm not certain why someone made this, but here's a bed that looks like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. Here's an app for the iPhone made by Stone Cold Steve Austin. … [Read more...] about Tech News for the Day, Monday, December 14, 2009
