Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Looks like it is time to review some Scosche products once again, and man, I was so pleased to review these two products made for the car with the MagicMount Charge Pro Dash/Vent and Elite2.
Our Review of the Scosche MagicMount Charge Pro Dash/Vent
So what is with this guy? Well, he’s a Qi2.2 Certified Charging head that can magnetically connect and deliver up to 25W of power for fast and efficient wireless charging. This guy comes with an attached cord, and it also comes with a USB-C car power adapter, if you don’t have a USB-C port on your car.
Now, this comes with two mounting options. One is a peel and stick with 3M capability, but if you don’t like that stickum, there is a Vent mount. The Vent Mount fits in between the air vent, and I believe that I show how to mount this, as it gets kind of complicated.
So it is really awesome, isn’t it? You can also use the integrated ball-joint to adjust the viewing angle. This makes the MagicMount Charge Pro Dash/Vent perfect for when you need to use your phone while you drive like on the Navigation program, not the texting!
You can find this product on the Scosche site for a price of $59.99.
Our Review of the Scosche MagicMount Elite2
I actually reported on something very similar to this the last time I talked about Scosche, but that was one that had some stickum on it. This one, it has the Dash Vent Mount.
Beyond that, that’s about the only difference. Yes, this is not a charger, but you can put a charging cable on your phone. Then you can put your phone on the Elite 2, because it can hold MagSafe and other MagicRing stuff. Oh, there is some 3M adhesive to stick it on the dash.
You should be able to purchase this on the Scosche site for about $39.99.
Facts About The Company
Like I said before, we have reviewed Scosche products before, and the last time was before I changed the format of my articles to include facts about the company. The company has a goal to “produce cutting edge, innovative accessories at a competitive price”.
I first caught notice of them at a tech conference quite a while ago, but they actually “came to life” in 1980. They make all kinds of tech products made for consumers, and this is what I’ve seen so far.
What Does This Company Make?
So, this what I’ve seen: the Scosche Magic Mount ProCharge Dash/Vent Magnetic Wireless Charging Mount and the PowerVolt Travel 30. Then there is the Scosche Compact 10K mAh Dual-Port Power Bank, or the GoBat 10K.
Then there is the MagicMount Pro Extendo, GoBAT MS 5K, with the Thudbuds TW Earbuds. And then there was the USB-C Fast Charger PowerVolt PD20, USB-C Fast Charger PowerVolt PD60, and Magic Mount Window/Dash Mount Kit for MagSage Charger.
Oh yes, there was The Rhythm Plus 2.0 and NEXC2 DashCam and the Scosche BaseLynx, MagicGrip, and much more!
I’ve figured that is enough cut and pasting of old links from articles that I’ve written, and I’m sure I’ll put those on articles about Scosche that will be done in the future. In fact, I just cut and pasted this here from my last article, which was the Powervolt PD35.
Then we reviewed the BoomBottle MS, just last summer. Then, here’s our review of the Scosche Magicmount Base MS + Strikeline HH Charging Cable Review!
There’s these products that I reviewed too: Scosche Three-Part Review: MagicMount Charge Elite Window Dash, PowerVolt PD65 Dual-Port Wall Charger, and MagicMount Flask
Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!
There doesn’t seem to be any spec sheets on the website, so I’m going to leave this blank for now.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Well, as far as the car mount is concerned, there are many to choose from. There is the Mophie one that I reviewed last May. There is also the iOttie one I reviewed last March.
I don’t really review a lot of small vacuums, so I don’t have anything to compare it to.
