STM 3-Part Review: 20W Power Adapter, Chargetree Go, and Myth Backpack 18L

February 17, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Hello, I think you know who I am, but we have had a chance to review three STM products. I want to discuss three different STM products with the Myth Backpack 18L, ChargeTree Go Portable Wireless Charging Station, and the 20W USB-C Power Adapter.

Our Review of the 20W USB-C Power Adapter

Well, I decided to do just a one-minute review on this, because I wasn’t really certain what to say on this. After all, you literally plug your USB-C device into this, and then plug it into the wall.

I mean, it is a 20 W Power Adapter for fast and efficient charging at home, in the office, or on the go. So, here’s some product that you most likely need.

Yeah, it does work, and why shouldn’t it? That’s about all I could say, and I might want to start doing one-minute reviews for lots of products.

Our Review of the STM ChargeTree Go Portable Wireless Charging Station

So, this is the ChargeTree Go, and it is made to charge three devices at once. Yes, you have seen things like that before, but I like the style of this one.

Not only does this ChargeTree Go do all the charging action, it can fold up really nicely as well. All you need to do is plug it in with the included USB-C to USB-C cable, and I would recommend using the aforementioned Power Adapter.

With the ChargeTree Go, you can charge up your Qi-enabled smartphone, and then, on the back, you can charge up your AirPods. There is also this pop-out section on the side made for the Apple Watch, so that is quite something.

So yes, the ChargeTree Go is really great if you want have Apple’s big three products. There’s a lot of that going around with these types of chargers.

Our Review of the STM MYTH Backpack 18L

So, now that we’re reviewing backpacks as tech, because we just do that a lot. The Myth Backpack 18L can certainly do a lot, and for starters, it is can hold laptops with 15-inch screens, and even the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The Myth Backpack has a lot of padding to protect the laptop, along with some serious gapless corners to suspend the device away from the edge of the bag, isolating it from the bump zone.
There are a lot of pockets with this backpack, an there is this CableReady system to allow users to charge on-the-go.

Something that is unique about this backpack is how you can slip it on the top of those roll-on suitcases. There is also another feature that is very unusual as it has Integrated Augmented Reality Technology including interactive 3D graphics, animations, and video to immerse you in it.

Facts About The Company

From what I read about the company on their “About Us” page, it would appear that this company, which I found stands for “Smarter Than Most”, was started in 1998. It was started by Ethan Nyholm and Adina Jacobs, and they started making the best in bags to protect digital gear and offer a “fashion-forward” look. Not only do they makes some cool bags, but protection, like iPad cases. Oh, and then there is the cool PowerKick that I just finished talking about.

What Does This Company Make?

Like I said, they make bags as well as power and accessories. And there is also iPhone, laptop and tablet protection. Here’s a few of their products that I reviewed back in 2016 (I told you that I was going to get to them).

What Do the Reviews Say?

The reviews are pretty good, about 4 stars each on the Chargetree Go and MYTH Backpack.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I think I have mentioned this, but I did some review of UAG products, and this is my recent Part 2 and Part 3 which have a iPad Pro 12.9-inch version case and a cool bag.

We also reviewed some cool chargers made for three Apple products, like the one from ZAGG. Then there was that recent one from Scosche, but I believe that could only do two devices. And hey, didn’t we review that one from ESR? Oh, and there was that cool one from Zens, and I hope to review something from them.
