Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Our Review of the Scosche MagicMount Charge Elite Window/Dash
This particular MagicMount Charge Elite Window/Dash is made for your car, if that isn’t obvious to you. I mean, this particular MagSafe compatible Qi1 Wireless Charging Phone mount is made for the window/dash.
It has in it this USB-C cable, and at first I thought there was very little, but there is actually a few feet of it on it. You can extend it to your 12 volt port in your car, and use the included plug-in which has two USB-C ports on it. Once it’s all plugged in, you can adhere the MagicMount Charge to your dash or windshield, and there is a convenient suction cup made for that. Now, whenever you need to charge your phone as you drive, you just stick it on, and you can even use your Maps program or whatever you might need while driving.
The MagicMount Charge charges fast at up to 15W, and it is especially good with MagSafe compatible iPhones. You can also adjust the viewing angle with the ball joint mount.
You can watch the video just to see how useful that it is, and then go to the Scosche site and get it for yourself for $69.99.
Our Review of the Scosche PowerVolt PD65 Dual-Port USB-C Power Delivery Wall Charger
I’m not really certain what I can say about this cool power adpater with the PowerVolt PD65, but I’ll give it a shot. First of all, it delivers 65W to a single device, and it intuitively shares power between the two ports at a rate of: 45W + 20W, or 57.5W +7.5W (when charging a smaller item, such as earbuds).
So yes, it is a dual-port charger that has two USB-C ports on the bottom of it, very similar to another that I reviewed. I don’t know if this adapter has advanced GaN technology for cooler and more efficient charging, but I’m glad it has fold out prongs for easy storage and travel.
This might cost you, it is available on the Scosche site for $54.99.
Our Review of the Scosche MagicMount Flask Insulated Water Bottle with Built-In MagSafe Compatible Phone Mount
All right! I guess the only thing that we have left is the MagicMount Flask, which is a water bottle with a magnetic phone mount that is MagSafe compatible. At first I thought this is a charger, but it is really jus a way to stick on your magnetic type of charger.
This mount can tilt upwards for some reason, and you can use your phone in portrait and landscape mode. As far as the bottle is concerned, it has double-wall vacuum insulation for 12 + hours (hot) or 24 + hours (cold). There is also this cool detachable water bowl so you can give your dog a drink as well.
I believe that you can get this on the Scosche site right now for a low price of $39.99, marked down from $54.99. I’m not certain what is up with the different sizes of bottles, but hopefully you can specify as the thick on doesn’t look like it could fit in a typical car cup holder.
Facts About The Company
Like I said before, we have reviewed Scosche products before, and the last time was before I changed the format of my articles to include facts about the company. The company has a goal to “produce cutting edge, innovative accessories at a competitive price”.
I first caught notice of them at a tech conference quite a while ago, but they actually “came to life” in 1980. They make all kinds of tech products made for consumers, and this is what I’ve seen so far.
What Does This Company Make?
So, this what I’ve seen: the Scosche Magic Mount ProCharge Dash/Vent Magnetic Wireless Charging Mount and the PowerVolt Travel 30. Then there is the Scosche Compact 10K mAh Dual-Port Power Bank, or the GoBat 10K.
Then there is the MagicMount Pro Extendo, GoBAT MS 5K, with the Thudbuds TW Earbuds. And then there was the USB-C Fast Charger PowerVolt PD20, USB-C Fast Charger PowerVolt PD60, and Magic Mount Window/Dash Mount Kit for MagSage Charger.
Oh yes, there was The Rhythm Plus 2.0 and NEXC2 DashCam and the Scosche BaseLynx, MagicGrip, and much more!
I’ve figured that is enough cut and pasting of old links from articles that I’ve written, and I’m sure I’ll put those on articles about Scosche that will be done in the future. In fact, I just cut and pasted this here from my last article, which was the Powervolt PD35.
Then we reviewed the BoomBottle MS, just last summer. Then, here’s our review of the Scosche Magicmount Base MS + Strikeline HH Charging Cable Review!
Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!
There doesn’t seem to be any spec sheets on the website, so I’m going to leave this blank for now.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Well, as far as the car mount is concerned, there are many to choose from. There is the Mophie one that I reviewed last May. There is also the iOttie one I reviewed last March.
As far as similar chargers, I just reviewed a few from my old friends at ZAGG.
I also reviewed an AUKEY charger that was similar.
As far as the water bottle is concerned, there is only the Scosche Boombottle, which I talked about in the video.
