Irreverent Reverence, Day 52: Saul’s Resignation Letter

The Bible doesn’t really say how Saul, who later became Paul, resigned from being Christian Persecutor to Christian, persecuted, but I would like to think that it would be through this letter.

Be sure to read Leviticus 14-15 and Acts 9 first.

Irreverent Reverence, Day 7: Seduction and Strength

Once again, this entry was written a year ago. I am still in Vegas, and this message still applies.

My friend and I passed a Casino the other day, and there was a loudspeaker on the outside. Apparently, if you went there, you could get a T-shirt that said: “I’m glad to be a sinner”. Man, is that a backwards gospel, or what?

Anyway, read all about seduction and strength here, but you should probably read the readings in Genesis 13-14 and Proverbs 2.

GiiNii Artforme Frames

GiiNii 10.4 inchI had a chance to try out two of GiiNii’s Artforme Digital Picture Frames. Each of them have a wooden frame that have power save modes that “dial them down” at night, provided you programmed the calendar correctly.

The 7 inch frame (below right) has about 128MB of internal memory, with an SD/SDHC memory card.

PermaFLOW easily unclogs the drain

neverclogdrain-thumb-453x351-30218I once had my drain clog, and it was quite a pain. Granted, mine plugged up way down the line, but a lot of clogs happen in the bend.

I suppose this is why someone created this PermaFLOW. It is a way of unclogging the drain simply by turning this wheel and the blockage should help clear itself up.

At least, that is the theory. I wonder how well it really works.

Norway spiral explained

500x_nxj4dxs67uck7b1_qdtzawozvmqqffj2fesicsuwdhmw

The Internet was ablaze with this picture that you see above. It is a spiral pattern that appeared in Norwegian skies a few nights ago. Oddly enough, about the same time Obama was visiting Sweeden to get his Nobel Peace Prize. It has been pretty much confirmed that the cause of the spiral was a failed Bulava missile that was launched from a nuclear submarine in the White Sea. It’s nice to know that it isn’t aliens, or some happening plucked from the book of Revelations.

Still, the idea of a missile that somehow got loose should scare us more, right? You can watch a video that simulates the spiral after the jump.
